Are you near and Advance Auto store??

I think they can do it for you at not cost.

Hey Dave, what kind of code is it? I work in Westminster and I have access to a code reader, and can diagnose it for you, or at least point you in the right direction, Is it affecting drivability? Let me know, I work Monday-Friday 8-5 and this coming Saturday from 8-2. BTW, I'm a mechanic.

Hi George,
Yes I am, it is the only parts store around here and I just left there.
Even had a Bull**** session with one of the guys there. Just bought the
new MSD cap&rotor.
Thanks,
Dave
Hows things goin.
I was conversing with Tractor Boy last week about something I found out after finding out where he worked. Might be a good idea for a gtg.
Aracadia VFD does a demo derby series every year. The promoter owns a company called Big Dog Offroad and sponsors a bunch of trial rides.
Anyway they also do tractor and truck pulls so I'm trying to get more info.

Its a code 14 which is the PIP.Yes the truck is driveable its just when the light comes on I can all but see the gas gauge going down. It seems to me that it seems to do it when letting off the gas like for a stop light.
I have replaced the following... distributor cause it was cheaper than the PIP
sensor, ignition module, plugs, wires and now doing the cap & rotor but I don't think that is going to do it but I'll try. I've check the connection the best I could
and about ready to start pulling connectors apart and squirting them with dielectric grease but am afraid of causing more trouble.
I can wait until next weekend cause I would have to take off really early to make it before 5.
Let me know where and when.
Thanks
Dave

Dave, sent a e-mail to you about your bronco, hope i can help out.

If I had my own OBD I/II reader I would be more than happy to help you. I may be able to borrow one from a friend, will let you know if I can.

Thanks for the offer,
flathead95hp said I could bring it down to where he works
and figure it out.
I think I'm going to try doing something with that connector
going into the module first. It has a broken lock on it. I have
another plug from a remote module I may try.
I told my wife where you worked and she wanted to know if you
could give some help in the summer getting her and the kids back
in fishing.
Dave
