Snow, in Ontario you can only pull a boat (legally) behind a fifth wheel not a travel trailer.
Yeah its different all over. When I was looking at the states that allow 2 trailers in the US there were only like 10 of them. Here are the Wisconsin rules for two trailer permits: http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/busines...rms/mv2743.pdf Number 11. gets me, pretty much you can pull two trailers with anything you want. So you can pull everything with a geo metro if you wish. |
Wow, what ingenious group of people sat down & came up with with these rules, scarry..........
|
I'd imagine the ones that made the rules....Sorry GIG...Ya walked into that one....
|
I bet Minnesota DOT made the Wisconsin rules while laughing the whole time.
|
I'd imagine they dont work for minimum wage either............

Camping trailers with a gross vehicle weight of less than 3,000 pounds are not required to have brakes or be registered.
NO registration ????... that kills me. under 3K dont matter, have a good day... Here in MA it requires Federal inspection. yet, I don't have to pass a sniffer test on my 95 ford and two years ago it had to go on a dyno and get sniffed in all driving situations. ~AND WHATS THE DEAL WITH A DODGE AD ON A FORD FORUM ~ Thats just funny. |

Thats one nice thing, any trailer under 3000# doesn't have to be registered or tagged around here. Hell I never even registered my car trailer and have yet to be stopped. http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/801/dsc08240o.jpg |

The limit on the 94.5 fords transfer case was 400K miles, it threw its gears up in the air and said I quit!
