Diagnostic Link Connector

Is there a "diagnostic link connector" under the hood of my 2000 Ford f-150. I have searched both the firewall and fender, on the left side, around the fuse box module, under the air filter housing and down to the ABS module, also on the right side near the control module connector but have not been able to find it. I was told by someone this model has none. Could this be correct? I need to access the diag. codes to see why the "service engine soon" light is lit.

On your truck it will be in the cab under the stearing wheel. Do you have a code reader. If not autozone can pull the codes for you.

Welcome to FTE and the Louisiana chapter. Where in LA do you live.
