looking for a mechanic in ct

sorry for anyone reading my thread twice but i just relized that this section exist and thought i might get more responses here. i just picked up a 97 f350 drw with the7.3L motor with 60k for my landscaping biz. The truck needs a exhaust mainifold on the passenger side and a few other small things once i get this mainfold issue fixed. i found out that my machanic that works on my 460 motors does not work on diesels. so i was looking for someone who would be willing to work on this truck and down the line on my 6.0L when the warranty is up. btw as a option i have a rather large shop with heat and plenty of tools if someone was not able to fit this truck into their shop. my email is girgentilandscaping@yahoo.com or 860 398 0538. any referrals would be helpful to!! just trying to avoid the dealerships!!! thanks chris

Where in CT are you located? There are a few decent diesel mechanics up near the Manchester area. I've done some landscaping myself...

hmmmm.. i used to live in cromwell, trying to think nearby. the place i've been that's been very good is Morrison & Johnson on Rt 195 (aka Merrow Rd) in Tolland, prob 30 mins from you. Couple of the guys are very knowledgeable on diesels.
