Allen Engine analyzer
Over the summer, I picked up an Allen 16-110 engine analyzer. The problem with it is that it didn't come with leads or a manual. Does anybody here have any info on these, especially schematics for the leads? I've run these before, so I don't need a full instruction manual.
This one is the old scope style, predates the computer ones by a bit. |
Now I feel better thinking I was the only one with old equipment.
I have a Sun EPA 75 two gas with scope, still works and great for trouble shooting. You try the manufacture, they still had information on my machine? |
The manufacturer isn't around anymore. The company that bought them out says to contact this other company, who won't respond to any attempt to contact them.
Gotta love old equipment- |
Man I got about 30 pages sent to me free by Sun for my machine.
I even located another analyzer for $20 that I use for spare parts to keep this thing running. So far the gas tube, vacuum pump and Hc gauge came in handy. The king of packrats here.. I could of had a BAR 90 machine for $250 but no room. I'll take a dyno with all the support for it. |
hi beemer nut
i just inherited a sun epa75. would you be willing to share the documentation? Thanks Bob |
I've found a lot of obscure or no longer in print stuff such as manuals through eBay---if there's a buck to be made someone will surely have it up for auction??
Doing a quick Google search seems there's a few others also still using that tester----could be worth a shot to do the same, maybe contact a few other users too? HTH |
