F150 Emergency Brake Stuck.......Help!!!!
 

I was parking my F150 last night, and when I put the emergency brake on it stuck to the floor board. The truck will still run, but the emergency brake light stays on, yet it's not working. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the parking brake working again? And what the possible problem may be?? Cable stuck?? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you might want to check the brake cable underneith the drivers side of the truck and see if you snapped it. tug on it and see if there is tension. it is pretty easy to find, just to the outside of the frame and it splits to the leftback and the right back just behind the cab. was there resistance on the brake pdeal when you engaged the parking brake?

My guess is it snapped. The cables will usally freeze if they are not used enough. If it did snap don't worry about or replace it put a little Anti-Seize on the cable and work it in. It will help prevent it from seizing again.
