what can i use for equipment?

Hi, I am just getting into the biodiesel scene, and i want to know a few things. What can i use to make the equipment to make the fuel, or do i have to buy a kit?

This site tells you how to make a simple DIY processer called an "Appleseed Processor"

Its really simple, all you need is a couple 55 gal drums, with some open shut valves welded in the bottom, a couple of $30 pumps from harbor freight to get you started, as you progress you will figure out newer faster ways, mechanical mixers and stuff like that, but that costs a little more, most people like to get started cheaply and invest more as they see good things happening.

I just made my first liter of biodiesel in a DR Pepper Bottle. (google Kitchen Biodiesel). It is really pretty cool. rc

Your oil heaters will be simple fittings and 12 dollar water heating elements. We now have 100 gallon system with dual heaters, gravity feed methaloxide, mechanical bulk mixers and free pumps from the haul it away spas.
