Does anyone know any thing about this 1972 org. Minnesota Vikings ?
 

Can any one give me information on this truck it is a 1972 F101 with a white top and purple body. The truck has a Purple People Eater Viking sticker on it that is faded.

There is no color code in the box, the DSO number is 581600.
This truck has the org. paint.

Some have told us that it was done for the Minnesota Vikings as a promotion.

We can not find another truck like it if any one knows anything please email

It was a special promotion vehicle for the MN Purple People Eaters. Not sure how many were built. there was one on e-bay not long ago with a buy it now price of $750,000. Its not worth nearly that much even though it was a low production vehicle. I doubt if it sold as it was not mint at all. All these trucks were built in the St. Paul plant.
