Tool box.

I have a huge new Weatherguard tool box that I need to sell. It is like new, sitting in my living room, much to my wife's annoyance. When I say huge I mean crazy huge, like the biggest one they make. The distributer wanted $750 + tax for it but I had cash so I got it for $700. I have a receipt, too. I figure I'll have to take a serious hit to sell it, so I'm asking $500. It is freaking deep. You have to get in the bed to get to the bottom. If you have a pile of tools or stuff this is what you need. Here is a picture of it mounted:

I know $500 is a lot, but you have to see the quality of a Weatherguard to understand how awesome these are. It has all the trays, dividers, level hooks, manuals, everything. I even have 4 keys for it. They usually only come with 2. I bought it at the end of March. I made a non-slip rubber-ish floor covering for it to protect the finish from sharp tools and stuff.

I can assist with installation. It only takes like 10 minutes.

Motorcraft BXT-59 battery, pulled from my 07 F150. I upgraded the battery from the stock Group 59 to a Group 65 battery. The battery is like new, maybe 1000 miles on it. Never abused or anything.

LxWxH = 10.03"x7.47"x7.63"
37 pounds

$40?

You parting out your new truck? :-D

Xyzzy 05-15-2007 03:37 PM

I bought it off the lot so I didn't get a chance to get the bigger battery option. So I figure I'll buy the big battery and sell the small one it came with. I also like to have regular batteries and not "maintenance free" ones. In the end I think I'll be out $50 or $60 so it isn't too bad of a deal. Or I'll just keep the old one for a backup or something. (If my wife's 05 Escape could use it that would be cool, but her battery is smaller and has reversed terminals.)
