Buring B100 In a Powerstroke?
 

I did a little searching but really did find the answer to a question I have so here goes…<o =""></o>

A guy that lives down the road has started making bio and is using it in his VW TDI for about a year now. He is looking for a little help collecting oil and since I work in the opposite direction I could help and would enjoy learning the process.<o =""></o>

I would even consider selling my gasser and replacing it with a F250 or F350 diesel if I could burn this BD in it.<o =""></o>

Does anyone know if I can use homebrew in a Ford and are there years that work better than others?<o =""></o>

As long as it is made correctly it will work in any Ford diesel, or any diesel.

I've been making and using bio for 4 years now in all sorts of diesels, including late model Powerstrokes. I've never had any problems. Any diesels older than 1993 MAY need to have the rubber fuel lines replaced. Biodiesel attacks natural rubber. If you have a lot of miles on your truck it may plug your fuel filter, biodiesel is a great solvent! It will clean out your entire fuel system.

I'll never go back to "dino-diesel"!! My trucks love it.......smoother running, way quieter, better milage, and smiling every time I pass a fuel station :-D

Thanks for the reply Don! I have found a few sites as I continue to search and I an eager to learn more. I may look into building my own BD processor.
