Things that make ya say "aw crap"
 

Well, after a long personal debate...
I had decided to go out and actually work for a living.
I went to a job interview yesterday and all went well and they hired me.

Now you would think that was a good thing.
During my getting aquainted with the surroundings time, the guy took me around and showed me a few things.

Including the freight elevator, which he showed me how to use and told me to be careful......yip its coming.

Now today i started work at 7 am.. by 7:05 i slammed my hand in the elevator.
Banged up all my fingers (sure hard to type now)
and even broke my trigger finger.(not to bad, so no worries)

Sure a good thing i decided to work again.
Good thing i bought lots of ammo the other day.
lol guess i gonna use another finger.

Dang doctor did not even give me a lollipop :)
And the nurse was ugly

Well, I bought the new motorcycle, three days later I blew my right shoulder out (rotator cuff) so now it sits with 94 miles, so much for saving some fuel money, plus I can't shoot right now either... hopefully I will get surgery soon! Curently in the waiting loop...

So I can agree with you -- aw crap!

well i dont think i need any surgury, so you are worse for wear than i am.

I just sold my 1999 victory, due to i dont have a garage to store it an th weather was eating it alive.

Heya Parrsboro - Yeah, I think I have too much time on my hands right now, I am spending a lot of time on line. Guess I need the diversion. lol

In another "aw crap" The galfriend just had surgery to repair a torn miniscus, so she is recovering at her place, I am stuck at my place on pain pills (bad to drive under the influence, I won't), so I don't have that diversion either - more time on my hands! At least my place of work is working with my bad shoulder, and rather than wrenching, I am instructing and I can type, so I have been spending a lot of time catching up on PM files on the equipment.

Hmmm - I need a life seems a appropiate thing to add right about now - :)

Sorry to hear about having to keep your Victory outside - been there and done that, it is hard to watch such a fine motorcycle be slowly eaten away. Every Victory that I have been around has been a real nice ride. I have had two Honda Silverwing Interstates, a GL500 and GL650, with the GL500 being a commuter bike, so it sat outside for 20+ years (prevous owner started that, I didn't want to mess with tradition), and looked it, the GL650 I just took on trips, and it stayed inside, and evidently had been a inside ride for most of it's life. I tricked it out with a lot of chrome, a custom seat back and extra lights, but I could never find a set of floorboards for it.

As far as the new motorcycle, well I decided to take a different approach and bought a 650 Suzuki Burgman Executive. yeah, I had to do some soul searching to actually buy a scooter, but at 108-115 mph top speed it is not your average scooter. I am just tired of shifting, I loved my Ninjas on the track, but this stop and go traffic in and around Seattle was killing me. So far I really enjoy the bike with one exception. The way it is set up in the computer managment of the engine / CVT trans, it is impossible to wheelie. Small thing I know, but I was even able to wheelie on my old 83 Honda full dress GL650 Silverwing Interstate.

I do plan on keeping it, but for now my riding days are over -

The cat jumped in the window, spilled the beer on my laptop, then was promptly sent out the window.

The laptop is still not working properly, and I have spent most of the last two days, trying to get this computer up to standard.

The cat is lucky that she has a special place in my heart!

Aw Crap is a $500.00 doller light bill when ya only got a $1000.00 a month coming in. Good by beer, pot and cigs. And if any of the trucks brake down I hope I can make the parts.

PS: sure glad the Viagra is free. HAAA

I never allow liquids within 10 feet of my 'puter! I totally freak out whenever anyones goes near it with something liquid in their hands!

Congrats (i think) on the new job Paarsboro. Shooting with the other hand will be ez, we'll just stand behind ya' :)

Speaking of AW CRAPs!

I let the 7" grinder walk off into my ribcage. The gash is drying out, cracking, and feels pretty good.

EDit: That got me to thinking of other things to grind, see ya' tonite! :)

That's as much fun as polishing yer fingers on the wire wheel on the bench grinder.

When I started my first official welding job, I managed to do some damage to myself on the day between my interview and starting- I was using a little 4" Makita grinder, and it bound up, shot out of the spot I was grinding, and went right across the right side of my face. So, show up to work the next day with what looked like massive road rash across half my face- got a lot of comments on that one.

Some People should read the caution labels on power tools. HAAA

I could start a tread devoted to shop accidents to you and seen by you. I've seen some pretty nasty ones.
Hard to get good help when ya live in a 3rd word country that nobody claims like Southeast Alaska. Including Alaska. We aren't even considered an Alaskan FTE region yet. But if I can get one more sou-easterner to post I'll make a bid for it.

At the steel nshop I used to work at we always had newbees in the prep and paint area. Their job was to grind any shapr edges and clean "the clip area" where 2 gurders connected. Well within a week of starting everyone of them had a "gut grinder" from a 4" bosch. I like the 4"ers but the 7" is way easier to control since most people leave the side handle on and take them off on the 4".

Seems that no matter how hard you try you cannot get it through a youngins head that loose shirts and sweaters are no good in a steel shop!

After seeing your keyboard, I don't know why I bothered setting up this other computer....In comparison, my laptop just came from Dell!!!!ROTFLMFAO
