They will be introducing them while they still have the contract... but they will only be going in the F150.

Enter Ford, which by signing a long term contract with IHC to provide Ford with diesel engines, saved IHC's azz. Ford not only signed the contract, but paid for the initial delivery of the engines up front...this gave IHC working capital. The first engines did not appear till model year 1986. IHC changed its name to Navistar. Bottom line: If it wasn't for Ford, there would be no Navistar! |
So basically navistar is bitting the hand that has fed them,and kept them alive,
Ford SHOULD absolutly drop them and get on with the in house motor of their own, or really give CAT a proposal they could'nt refuse. |
