In New Mexico just north of I-40, I seen a bobtail get stuck in the mud & a Sheriff's big Ford SUV pulled it up to the road. Wish I had a video camera.

Cool, but I don't know if I believe that it was stuck very bad.

Oh lord.. Look at the video again.. You can clearly see the back 2 axels were burried up to the rim.. Now any true trucker knows that once your rear axles are that deep your done for.. Not many can pull themselves out of that hole..

Good video none the less and proves the point we got the power to pull...

The truck was stuck, you could see it sinking & the trailers were leaning a little. A semi can easily get stuck in only 1" of mudd, due to light weight on drive axles and pulling heavy trailers. Sometimes it only takes a few thousand pounds of pull to aide in vehicle recovery, for this reason a light vehicle can help recover a heavy one. You would be surprised what 4x4 LOW can do, even if all you got is a gas engine.

Yea the semi was stuck................If you watch the wheels of the Ford you can see it took the load.Either it was the perfect set up to hook up to the semi for the PSD,who knows. All in all pretty sweet vid to see................

Agreed.
I dont care if his F350 has 5000Hp, a 10,000 lb truck can not develop the traction to move a 80,000 lb rig if it is in a situation that it cant move itself. Have you ever seen a smaller truck pulling a big boat out of the water and all it can do is spin. Same idea.
