Just thought I would sign in and introduce myself, thanks Placermike.
I live in Snoqualmie and drive a 2000 F-350 4x4 PSD Superduty. I have learned a lot from this forum about my truck that has helped me out on some of my mod's, repairs and just keeping it in top shape.

Hey guys.
I'm pretty new here. I just bought my first Ford truck a couple of weeks ago and am pumped to fix it up. Bought an orange '79 F-250. I love it, so I'm glad I found people that can help me keep it in shape.

upriverjoe 09-08-2008 06:44 PM

welcome, where are you lacated in WA.? i live in Concrete and have a 78 F-150, 351m, 4X4, 4spd. short bed, raised 8" with 38x12.50x15s and double shocks and stabelizer damper on front and singles on back.

Habeascoffee 09-09-2008 11:27 PM

I'm in the Gig harbor area. My truck is pretty stock. 2wd. 400cid 6.6L.

Ah, I was just down there on Sunday, pulling parts off a truck. Yanked an engine in trade for a clutch and flywheel. I felt kinda bad because as we pulled the engine and tranny, I spotted a nice little "aftermarket ventilation" of the block. Probably overrevved when the motor mount broke same as my old 390.

Habeascoffee 09-12-2008 02:09 AM

ouch. That engine mount thing makes me nervous. My engine has a pretty bad case of the shakes and I'm not sure what would cause it. This is, of course, a topic for another thread. :-) Links would be helpful. :-)

So... how do we become a member of the WA Chapter?

[edit]: Never mind. Found it.
