I've been working on it for about 5 months.
I notched the frame 2" boxed it in and installed a 2007 crown vic front end. with a pair of QA1 coilovers. I narrowed and four linked the 9" added coilovers, an Auburn pro and 3.70 gears along with disc brakes. I notched the frame and I'm working on tubing out the bed. Raceline custom billet 20x9 on the front with 255/40/20 and 22x12 on the back 335/25/22. Rides like a new crown vic. Relocated the fuel tank to under the bed so I could get a stereo in it JL 6.5's in the doors. I was crazy about the holes a previous owner had cut above the seat in the rear pillars for speakers but I put some JL 5.25 in them. running a JL hd600/4 on the mids and highs and a Hd1200/1 on three slim mount JL 12's behind the seat. I found a good 428 block. Its getting a forged 4.250 crank and 6.700 H beam rods for 462ci. A mild solid roller cam, PTC 3,000 stall converter T&D rockers, a set of aluminium Felony heads topped of with a blue thunder medium rise dual quad intake and Quick Fuel carbs. I built the exhaust off of a set of FPA tri-y headers. Dual 3" Magnaflow xl 3 chambers exiting just ahead of the rear tires. Beyond that there's abunch of body work to get to work on. |
Looks slick. Nice wheels mhrmike

Nice trucks in here peeps. Gives me some good tips and inspiration to get started on mine. Just a question here as I have looked for a section specifically made for "builds" and could not find one on here. On some other forums I belong to they have a build forum which makes it much easier to check out what you are after. Just askin. Keep up those builds and I hopefully will be joining your ranks soon...Al
