How about the weather

Gotta love this March weather, got the bike out already. It only sat for 3 months. I give my brother a hard time about that, he's a sled fan.http://campaigns.ford-trucks.net/for...cons/icon7.gif

Yeah its time to open up the shop and get some fresh air in there after the long winter. And at least your brother got some snow to last more than a couple days to ride on! So he shouldn't complain at all.:D

how about these temps in the 20's-40's all of a sudden

fordloverf2501970 04-05-2007 03:55 AM

i am tired of cold ! now i hear it is supposed to be cold all weekend, including friday. my harley is at work i have to ride it home friday when i get back, it's 52 miles to my house from work. Plus i have a meeting saturday i was planning on riding it too. mother nature can kiss my exhaust. it is spring not winter.

I was hoping the weather would be a little warmer myself this weekend ended up getting friday off and was wanting to start back up brewing biodiesel, but the shed I have setup for doing that is not insulated or heated and the stuff gels at like 42degrees when I am trying to brew it so it won't work until the temps stay higher than that. I really wanted to get it going again so I can quit paying high prices for the fuel.
Oh well guess I should go work on the Ranger, at least I have a heater in that shop.

Where Do You Bog At? I Do Mud Drags In Eastern Nebraska And Sw Iowa. I Am Always Looking For Nore Events. As Long As They Are Not Too Far Since I Drive My Truck Everywhere I Go.

428, Rich there races over on the other side of the state, but I do know there is a couple races a year in Lamoni IA still a pretty long drive for you but it's a night race, usually on Friday nights that I always try to attend.
You will have to post up some of the races you know about in SW iowa I might make the trip over that direction if I can.

428HIGHBOY 04-08-2007 02:16 PM

the closes muddrags are in Pacific Junction, IA on 5/13, 7/8, and 8/12. that is 15 miles south of council bluffs.
this is were i get most of the scheduling for this area. some of them get pretty far west. if anybody know of another place to get scheduling in this area, please let me know. i need to win as many as i can to reclaim a little of the money i am investion in my new 428cj. HA HA
