Good Tire Shops

Who swears by their Tire Shop in Washington? TireRack, Discount Tires, ...?

I usta' swear by Les Sc***b but they've been poor service the last three times. The tires are fine, but they've screwed up the mounting, or didn't install new stems (that leaked), or a bad balance, or can't find a slow leak (the rim is newish and smooth), or ordered the wrong tires. It may just be the two dealers on the island here...

What's your favorite place?

I have used TireRack for a gool deal on motorhome tires. (had Costco mount them to the wheels)

I have also used Costco for tires on my truck & wifes Windstar. Got good service here in the south end...

I have had good luck with wally world, actually. Them and Big O. I got a set of used tires mounted at Big O, and it was $40 out the door. The rears wore out, and for the last year I have had a pair of 385/75R16 LT Liberators on the truck, courtesy of wal mart. Less than $200 out the door, and got two brand new tires, mounted and balanced. I haven't had any issues with them, and have come close to overloading them a few times.

Costco can do a decent job, but I would recommend Les Schwab in the peninsula area.

Thanks I'll check out those other places, a couple of them are within 25 miles. Maybe make a longer trip to the big city too; Mt Vernon lol.
