The Big Project

:-winkHi Flight,

I have a Big Project that I am going to do this summer on Mr. Truck.

Ready here it is!!! }>

I am going to DURABAK the whole truck!!!:-hair
Durabak, is a "do-it-yourself" polyurethane truck bed liner in a can. www.durabakcompany.com.

I will be doing the Bed in Dark Gray Textured reg & a top coat of UV. The body of the truck in Dark Gray Smooth UV ( I think both coats)

The accent panels will be Black Smooth UV. This is the current paint scheme on Mr. Truck now.....

Things I am thinking about in doing this
project. :-X20

To spray, roll or to brush on? I think spraying it on would be the best out come, but would need to get a goop gun for the
textured.
I do a good job with rattle cans, but not sure if I am up to spraying the smooth?

Take the bed off to get to the back of the cab and do the job right. Not sure how to do this on the cheap?

Will take lot of px & do a write-up, so it can be posted on FTE.

Anyone want to help? Talk to me....:-X02

I might be up to that, that's a pretty cool look. FWIW, though, spraying gives the best finish, second roller, then a brush.
I wonder if that stuff would work for the top on my Galaxie? It's either that, Hammerite, or rhino lining.

Keep Us Posted

I am interested in finding out how well it works. 'Miss Meeg' sustained some damage in a slide during a good storm in the Sierras last winter, and I am in the process of getting her figure back.:-D

JR, that'll look good and a non-skid liner besides. The sliding on my bedliner shell is unhandy sometimes.

Pix :)
