2007 June Meet--N--Greet & Mod Party
 

Ok, I'm sure you all saw mention of a mod party I was wanting to have at my place but we werent sure about when. So after discution with the wife it looks like any weekend in June or July except the weekend after the 4th of July will be good for me at this time. For those who don't know were I am as respect to DE I'm about 10 minutes or so from Middletown. So when is good for everyone else?

Let's see, Danlee is setting up a DE chapter nite for the end of May or the first part of June with Del Rods. He should have an answer for us after their February meeting.

If it doesn't make any difference if we have 2 meets in June, then anytime is ok with me.

I have no plans set in stone as of now so I'm up for any date.

Any time would would be great. I don't have any mods to do at this time ,But I'm sure I can think of something. Maybe you guys might have some sugestions....

So Brian, exactly what is a Mod Party?

Should I show up with a new cat back exhaust system to install, maybe an air intake to install, or what?

A mod party is basically a party to get together and do mods on everyones trucks. If no one has anything that needs do you just hang out and talk trucks. I would have a shop do the exhaust so you can have it welded (don't have my welder yet) But I don't see why we couldnt handle a cold air intake.

I thought maybe that was the purpose, just wanted to be sure in case I showed up with a weeks worth of work. Just kiddin.

Anything we should plan to bring with us, food, drink, etc?

Brian,I have a small wire fed welder I can bring if you can figure how to work it...I have never used it.It"s 110 volt..

George I think once we have a day picked as we know whos coming everyone can bring a dish and That will cover a lot of the food.


Barry Your more than welcome to bring it just in case its needed, I have a little welding to do on the 86 so maybe we could give it a try out.

So Brian, do you think this mod party could be an annual event?

Or Bi annual,tri annual?

Annual shouldnt be a problem at all, maybe even 2 a year depending on the wife :-D
