fuel return lines and injectors?

My weekend project is to install a new fuel return line kit as there is diesel all over the place.

The question is, do I replace the injectors at the same time?

The truck is brand new to me (1992 f350 crew cab 7.3). It starts and runs great, no stalling or hesitation issues (just passed emissions w/pretty good numbers).

Is it worth the extra $240 for the injectors, or should I spend the money somewhere else? When doing those lines, am I liable to break any part of the injector?

Thanks for any help....

Youre nozzles are probably fine. Especially if you have good numbers on emissions test. Bad nozzles should have showed up on the particulate matter portion if anywhere. Remember, however , that they are a wear item and will not last forever and waiting till one fails is the wrong thing to do. You can easily loose a cylinder.

You shouldn't hurt the nozzles. Sometimes the lines will rust up some and the nut will hang up. It wouldn't hurt to spray them with a penetrating oil if they are rusty before you remove them.
