can anyone tell me where the #2 cylender is on a 4.6L engine (1997 F-150)

#2 is the second one back on the passenger's side.

Sure, the #2 cylinder on a 4.6L engine in a 1997 F-150 truck is located on the passenger side of the engine. It is the second cylinder from the front of the engine, which is closest to the radiator. To locate it more precisely, you can look for the spark plug wire that connects to the #2 spark plug, which will lead you directly to the cylinder.
