can anyone tell me where the #2 cylender is on a 4.6L engine (1997 F-150)

#2 is the second one back on the passenger's side.

Sure, the #2 cylinder on a 4.6L engine in a 1997 F-150 truck is located on the passenger side of the engine. It is the second cylinder from the front of the engine, which is closest to the radiator.
