Hi new to the forums, I need help getting info in how to replace the heater core of my 97 f150 I've got the dash loose but I need more detailed info,

I too need to do the heater core on my 98. The manual I have says that the A/C needs to be discharged and disconnected, then the dryer has to be replaced and the system recharged. Is this true?

eeyore150, I have not performed this job myself but, I see nothing in the instruction sheet about that and if I remember correctly, this subject has come up before. The AC does not need to be dealt with at all. :-X25

I also changed my instrument panel lights that have been out for years!

It sure would have been more difficult if I hadn't found this forum.

P.S. I didn't take my entire dash out!
