Spoke with Automotive Specialists today
 

Hey all,
I spoke to the crew at Automotive Specialists today and heres the basic info: They had a great turnout at the get together. They plan to do this once a year. I asked them if they would be interested in sponsering a small event for the FTE SC chapter in addition to their annual meet and the response was positive. It turns out the dyno setup was owned by an individual and he's pretty much gone home for the winter.
I plan to meet face to face with them as soon as I can, but work is pressing (boo-koo 10-12 hour days right now). I didn't commit to anything, mainly wanted to test the water, so to speak.
My questions are these:

1. Would our members in the central and coastal areas of SC be willing to travel for a meet like this?
2. I doubt the dyno guy does his thing for free. If there was a fee to hook up to the machine, would anybody else be willing to "pony up"?
3. Food
4. Music?
5. Vendors? maybe a rep from Fairway or something?

I'm sure we can all come up with other questions, but those are my start. Tell me what you think and we'll go from there
