Event for 09/09/2006
 

Lets try to get some event going. Winter is coming soon. Does any one like dirt track racing. If so a few of us go to the Sycamore speedway every Sat night.

Car wrecks, cheap bear:-drink , good food, and nice eye candy what else can ya ask for. LOL}>

The track is about 3 miles east of Sycamore IL on state route 64 ( North Ave. )

So if you would like to go just let me know kids under 12 I think are free. Adults are 10$ I take my 9 year old daughter there so it is also family friendly. We get there around 7-7:30 to watch time trials racing starts like at 8 or so. Its over around 10:00

Ok map Quest is giving the wrong direction to the speedway. If you are coming from the Chicago are take 290 to I88 take I88 to RT 47 go north on RT 47 to RT 64 also known as north ave, turn left ( west ) from here its like 5-10 mile.

You can also take 90 and get off at RT47 and go south to RT64 and turn right ( west ) I dont know but I was told RT 47 was closed by 90.

Any other directions needed shot my a msg or give me a call if I dont pick up leave a msg so I can call ya back.

:-drink Just wondering if anyone is planning on going as I have about 6 local friends going and two friends racing their super late models tonight.

Just got home from the races. Sorry none of you were able to make it, it was a blast.
