What's The Go In Australia for SDs?

I've had a look at the Brazilian trucks but gee, they're ordinary. Had a long look at VDC's offerings and love them ( www.vdc.com.au ) - but a lot more money.

Anyone here have a late model truck from VDC?
Any rumours on Ford Oz and what they are going to do?

I'm pretty certain I'd go a VDC for now but resale remains a risk.

I also looked at VDC's efforts - about 18months ago, when I was thinking of replacing my SD (with the 7.3) for better fuel economy and power.
Thier fit and finish was pretty darn good, and was impressed, but ouch, thier prices...

Plus, I just don't like the idea of having a conversion.

As for Ford Oz's plans, I would expect to see something this time next year (about 6 months after the US model gets introduced) ;)
And thats a bit more than a rumour too

I dunno. Ford Oz haven't signed anything off yet so to say a vehicle is coming in 12 months might be a big wish. Anyway, they won't bring in lariat or Harley models I reckon.

No, agree with you that we won't get Harley or Lariat trims - nor the extensive options.
Shoot - I doubt we will see a petrol model.
