5400 RPM redline? Are you sure thats correct? I wonder what kind of fuel economy numbers we'll be seein.

Minimum Idle Speed in Drive 5500 rpm
Dang! Going to be some smokin' tires at stoplights!

Gotta love typos... :D

It was a copy and paste thing! Don't shoot the messenger :)

NoMo 07-06-2006 11:43 PM

Definitely not your fault. I just thought it was funny.

Are the brochures out yet?

ExcursionPSD 07-30-2006 11:50 PM

It looks like GVWR for the
4x2 is 7400 for Expedition and 7600 for EL
4x4 is 7700 for Expedition and 7900 for EL

quite a bit different than the 9200 I'm used to in a 4x4 PSD Excursion.

Needs more horsepower!.. The base vortec is 315hp now.. The generation 4 vortec is at 367 hp... They also have a option for a 6.2 liter 380 horsepower on the Denali's.. The 5.3 315hp is rated at 20mpg.... The expedition is very nice, Ford needs to step up the hp's.. all their cars are underpowered..

BlueOval5.0 08-03-2006 11:33 AM

Electro,

It would be nice to see the 6.2L Hurricane be an option on the Expedition whenever the motor becomes a reality. Until then, unless a diesel is built the 5.4L is all you're going to get.

The 2007 Expedition detailed specs have been on this site for months! If you check the front page of the site daily, you'll see that new things are added all the time, and you'll get information much, much sooner.

Seating in the middle seat!

Guys,

Do you know if there are any other seating options?
40/20/40 is what I am seeing!

We are expecting twins... then have a two year old and a three year old...

Need a 70/30 split like the suburban?

Anyone know?
