I have always had really good experience w/ my local NAPA parts store. The one in Kennett Square, PA has been especially helpful. I picked up a thermostat housing and needed some vacuum tubing. I did not rememebr the size I needed, so they game me 1.5 ft of each for free and told me a few pointers to check for bad lines.

Well i dont work at the part store we are the auto care. We sometimes dont even get our parts from napa if we can get them cheaper other places, and sometimes we have to go thru the dealer for factory parts.

I usually do all my own work, but then I also work for Cottman transmission. I don't claim to know all transmissions but I have accses to a welth of info that could point you in the right direction. I don't have the space at home yet to do side jobs but I'm trying to get the boss to give some sort of discount to freinds. I work at:

If your in the Shippensburg / Newburg area of South Central PA, check out Blue Mtn Car Care, owned by Cory Whisler. He left CVM Chrysler Dealer a few years back and is tops in this area as a diagnostician with most of the latest gadgets. His experience is by no means limited to Chrysler products. He has had loads of experience with Fords, tractor pullers and his nefew (employee) is a very talented Turbo Mustang man! Their labor rates are usually less than half what dealers charge.
