I wonder if a boat enthusiast site somewhere would have classifieds?

mybe. i have really just started looking on here. they have some really good deals on the repos if you can find a list of them. i seen a 2005 pontoon that would have wnet for $30,000 new gor for $11,500 at a repo auction.

Grab a copy of the tradin post, they usually have listings for auctions in there, also try visiting the middletown auction for what is avaible.

I have a friend who is a licenced auto dealer and he might be willing to go to the dealers only auctions and buy a boat for you for a Fee...i''ll ask him if you want me too.

Our Boat/RV Sale is the First Friday Each Month - Next Sale 7/7/06
linky to inventory
http://www.adesacinday.com/RV%20Sale.html

A public sale is like any other auction. Bidders register before the sale starts (please see our rules of public sale). You must pay a $50.00 annual registration fee and a $400.00 purchase deposit. Bidders are given a bid badge with a number on it. You must have a valid bid badge to purchase a vehicle. You must have a different bid badge for each vehicle you purchase. The doors open at 8:00 AM. You may pick up a list of the vehicles available for sale at the front counter, or see our sale lineup. The vehicles are available for inspection until the sale starts at 9:30 AM. You will not be allowed to test drive any vehicles. If your bid is the high bid, the vehicle may still be sold on an "if" basis. This means we must call the lending institution to see if they will accept your bid. You will be notified within an hour after the sale closes for the day.

If your bid is accepted, you will have until 5:00 on the day following the sale to complete the purchase. If you do not complete the purchase FOR ANY REASON, your deposit will be forfeited.

I was going to suggest calling the sherriff or looking online for repo agencies in the area and calling them and asking where the repo auctions are held. But 2504x4 covered it better.

pontoon boats are selling like hot cakes right now people are getting top dollar for them also. its kind of weird.

cool, that web site looks good as well. i am also going to look around more at the end of the season because sometimes people will sell them because they do not want to store them.
