1971 360 fuel pump

Smelt some gas today and a good thing I stopped and looked at what's up. The o ring on the fuel pump cannister gave out and there was gas a plenty flowing. The truck is parked now at a motel parking lot until I find an o ring. Question is, "Is there a non-canister fuel pump available for this motor?" It would make life one o ring less easier.

That's probably all you'll find if you're shopping on a budget. Compare new with old and you might find that the new one is shorter, which means your fuel lines will not fit perfectly.

There is a fuel pump for the FE engine that does not have the canister, just goto your local parts house and ask them and they will point you in the right direction. I replaced the canister type on my truck because all it did was leak.

I will call the NAPA guys today. One less o ring is a beautiful thing. Thanks
