Denied permission
 

I'm trying to upload pics into my album but it keeps telling me that permission is denied. I downloaded that 1.4.1 Java thing, but still denied.:-huh :confused: Stupid technolgy.:mad: This is why I have old trucks. Less computer stuff.

The very first time you visited the page it put up a security box saying the application was asking for permission to access your computer (so it could retrieve the images). If you said no to those security rights.... there's not much we can do. Flush your browser's cache and see if that helps.

Whassat mean? Not into comuter lingo.:o

Go to internet options in your Control panel of your computer.
In there click Delete Cookies, Delete Temporary internet files and Offline files.
Clear history

Ah ha! I can do that.

It worked. I'm not getting denied anymore. Thanks guys. I'd like to thank you for your patience with my computer incompetence. That being said... :o I can't figure out how to bring up my pics to drag and drop them. I now have two shiny new trucks in that box in the middle of the screen that was just plain grey before, and it says to drag and drop pics here. I trid going into my start menu and going into my pictures but when I try to drag them over it puts up a web address like ford-truck/galleries/reject, or something of that nature when I try to drop them in there. When I click on the web address it brings up a menu. I highlight my pictures on that menu and click open and it says something about resizing and then nothing happens. If I can't drag them from my start menu how do I do it? Thanks again for your help and patience. :) Oh yea BTW :-X25

Update. Tried clicking on browse on the bottom of the screen and it brought up my truck pics but if I try to drag them from there I get a little circle with a line through it.

Do you have a friend or neighbor that can help you with your computer? It is difficult to do that from here.

Once you go to the album you wish to upload pics to you should see a box and a pop up appears that you need to download an Java applet.

Download it.

Once downloaded a picture of 2 trucks appears on the screen.

That Picture is your drag & drop destination

I got to the point with the 2 trucks but when I drag over a picture and drop it in it puts up a web adress ford-trucks/user galleries/reject, or something of that nature. Is it supposed to do that? When I drag a picture over will I be able to see the picture in that box instead of the 2 trucks? Thanks again for your help and patience.

Don't know about the reject or why.

No about your pic replacing the 2 trucks,.

You will however see pop-up saying your image is being sized to fit the album properly.
That should disappear once it is all uploaded.
Then you scroll down the page to see your pic in it's album spot
No problem about the help :)

Alright. I get that resizing pop up, but nothing at the bottom of the screen under photos in this album. I just get that web adress where the 2 trucks are. I typed in the web adress and it sent me to the site map and said Error, the file you are requesting cannot be found. I'm doing something wrong, just dunno what.

How large are thse pics you are trying to upload ?

Make sure they are no larger than 130 kb

or 1000 px X 800 px in size.
