Shipping from american online stores

I'm trying to buy a shop manual on CD from Motorhaven, and it won't accept my canadian shipping info. Have any of you guys gotten parts shipped from one of these american stores?

thanks,

They will send it to me and they have the address on file.

Just PM > *FTE Jason* or FTE Larry with your CC number ,attach a link to this thread ask them personally.
Just Tell them you would like it sent to you or

send it to me and when it arrives I'll get it to you.

I have shipped some stuff from the states and the online stuff wants your billing address and mailing/shipping address to be the same, but if you call them, you can get it shipped elsewhere. That is what I have found.

I sent Larry a PM.
I'll get back to you if you don't hear from him first.

I just went ahead and phoned in my order. I usually prefer to do the online ordering because there is less chance of a misunderstanding.

It's supposed to be here in about ten days. I can't wait.

It came today!

Got it about an hour ago. From the looks of it, it is wicked! It's even got thirty or so pages of Ford brochures. Shows every option.

If anyone has a specific question, I can look it up for ya. http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums...lies2/cool.gif

Curious, whats all on that shop manual?

seventyseven250 05-09-2006 07:44 PM

Everything is on it. Let's say you have a question about the headliner, something you probably won't find in Chiltons or Haynes. This manual has four pages of descriptions and diagrams of every kind of headliner offered in every F, E and L series truck in 1977. Diagrams of how to remove it, plus which models came with what.

Or if you want to know abou the C6 automatic transmission, it's got 25 pages on it, including exploded-view and engineering diagrams.

I haven't read it all yet, since I'm guessing it something like a thousand pages.

So far, I'm very impressed.

I'm not in your league Dennis, even with a big reference book. http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums...ies2/thumb.gif

thats what i would call a good book :)

You see why I constantly mention to people how important getting this CDrom version is now!

It is so worth it !

This weekend I found an Alberta supplier but my loyalies lie with FTE :)

Motorhaven will get all the referrals :)

What years of Ford trucks does your manual cover? Now you got me curious, sounds like a great investment for your vehicle.
