I got the fender flares done fitted, then mounted yesterday, was a real pain, can't expect the self drilling screws that come with them to go in without drilling, Econolines have 2 layers of steel in the rear fender lip. I tried dupli-color color match, crappy paint would not adhear to them, was suggested to use adhesion promoterfor use on plastic, nope, still doesn't help. After my faliure, and I trued, 4 cans worth and just couldn't get coverage, I went with Krylon Fusion, no where near the right shade of white. I plan to repaint the lower portion of the van, where the rough texture paint is, rock protection, going with black maybe, doing the flares in the same color.

I got lucky, was only $20 due to open box, dang things sell for $179 a pair, needless to say, front will be without unless another box opens up. I hated having to clamp them on, pencil where they contact the body, then grind and repeat till tighter fit, nothing is a direct bolt on.
Need some cut out fender flares for the F-150, eleminate the rust holes around the opening, but they're about $200 a pair.

Top pic is so good, I made it my wallpaper on the computer.

I can see we need to open our own project trucks pages on the chapter webpage(s)!!!

NICE!

I did a bunch of A/C work on my new one today, and ended up painting the grill.

I need to do something with her Bronco II, but it's future isn't too good, if I can trade our F-150 for a daily driver, it'll have to go for a rebuild, poor mileage and running is getting to me.

I hear that. You saw what I did...

I haven't made any upgrades to my ride in quite a while. I have spent about $1400 in parts & labor since Nov. Its running ok for the first time in about a yr. I get good mileage for a full size truck. It gets about 19 highway. Its time for a road trip.
