Working up the route from Memphis to Paris
First join point will be exit 42 on I-40 (Pilot Truck Stop)
I-40 to the 45 bypass into Milan. Milan to Paris on the 79. I wish I could find my Truckers Atlas, it would make it a lot simpler to figure times of arrival. That's my next problem to work. More info to follow... |
Update - I had a lot of trouble finding where 222 tied into 40. It might be a shorter route.

When you are on 79 and going through a small town, definitely go the speed limit.
|
^^^ that rule goes for any small town in Tn.
|
If I ain't mistook - 79 starts out as Stage Road (which was a stage coach route at one time) and all the little towns along it have county and local mounties that will dog your bumper from one city limit to the other.
Question is: Speed or mileage? I vote git there quicker... |
I think your wrong about where Highway 79 starts. It runs from Louisiana north. Its the main highway between Homer & Minden La. I grew up on a farm between these towns. I don't know where 79 goes north of Tn.
|
It could be so...
