Bio Diesel use in new F 250

We are interested in using BioDiesel in our new Ford Truck. The book says only B5. Does any one know if there has been any rulings or decisions from Ford about using BioDiesel. The only thing available is B20 or B100

Hello bowingo. Welcome to Ford Truck Enthusiasts!!

As far as I know there have been no changes. Ford's stance is still B5 or less.

Many users of this forum run considerably higher percentages, but it is at the risk of their collective warranty.

You can blend the fuel yourself in the tank. B20 will have 2 gallons of B100 in 10 gallons of mix. SO for B5 you would need to blend in about 40 gallons of good #2 fuel to the 10 of B20. or to get it in the tank you can get 5 gal of B20 and 20 gal of #2. This would get you close.

They cant tell what % Bio you are running unless you pull in with a full tank.

All you have to do is fill up with straight #2 before going to the stealership
