here's your decode, you have a 66 model. nothing strange if the title say's 67 tho, lots of states and provincial registries titled them as the first year they were registered. mine is a 61, titled as a 60.
that is also a real canadian truck, most of them were merc's but a few were titled and sold as fords. must have been either a company, military, or other government truck when new with the special order code. E10 = Econoline pickup F = 170 engine H = Lorain Ohio assembly plant 766771 = October 1965 serial number (1966 model) 090 = wheelbase J = Rangoon Red paint E102 = 1 ton pickup (heavy duty model) 5 = red standard interior 87 = pickup model C = 3 speed transmission 12 = 4.11:1 heavy duty axle (9 inch) 4930 = 1 ton GVW 89 at 3800 = certified net HP at RPM B1 = Canada Lincoln Mercury Central sales district 6645 = special order number jim |
Thanks Jim, This clears up some of the stuff that was different with this pick up
