A few more progress pics
Hope I don't bore all of you, but we made good progress today on our project. Here are some more pics.
The doors, fenders, hood all got cut in today. The cab got primed. Tomorrow, the windshield and rear window go in & hopefully we will get to shoot some paint on it by the end of the week. We are finishing up welding the bedsides on tonight if the caffeine holds out ! http://ryanrocketracing.com/G_Wagon2/index.htm Original gallery pics below http://ryanrocketracing.com/G_Wagon/index.htm |
Dude, you suck! :-X07
j/k Looks awesome, I'm completely jealous :-X06 Any ETA when it will be back on the road? |
Not really Steve. It's the little things taht add up and take so much time. I want to put a new radiator in it, have a few electrical issues to finish & pull the brakes down again & check them out after all the dust, sand etc... that has been sprayed near them. Hoppefully by the end of March.

Sweet, you'll let me come over and drool over it right? From a safe distance I mean :-X06
I keep putting mine off becuase I want to throw a D60 under the front, but its just so exspensive :-roll Its getting to the point that I want to have fun and get it done to drive on the D44 and just save and swap next year :-X22 Even then I still need some good weekends to pressure wash the axle housing and prep and paint it. . .I'm looking at your truck and I'm thinking I can stand out side scrubbing in raining freezing weather :-X22 MAN, just looking at your truck i want to go outside and sit on my frame and pretend I'm driving!@ |
Looks like you have more than one project going on, keep up the good work.

Steve,
Let me know. Bring the axle over & I have a steam cleaner that will make short work of that task. Then we could shoot some primer on it & move you along ! Here is yesterdays progress, got the windshield, back glass in & we are hanging the doors, fenders & front end stuff today. We were playing around with an old International bumper and stuck that on the front end. Just cut it down a little and spend some time polishing & it may just work. :-D :-X04 www.ryanrocketracing.com/G_Wagon3/index.htm |
