WOW! Saleen is coming out with a 450 Horsepower Ford F150 Pick-up
 

:-D I was surfing the web today and I stumbled on this lovley piece of American Steel. Since they canned the Lightning project this could the truck the SVT Lightning buyers are going to buy.

It's not even due out to dealers until July 2007. Hopefully the F150 will have the hurricane by then.

Does ford make any profit whatesoever on this "new" truck? The lightning concept put out by ford awhile ago looks a lot like this one. That grill is A1!

Man, i promised myself i'd never own an F-150 beyond 96. Now that thing has got me droolin'...I want i want i want i want!!

Pretty sweet. 10 grand is pretty steep for a supercharger, though.

For cheap arses like me, I'd just get a 3v f150 regcab shortbed 2wd, buy the body kit, "euro" headlights (and tail lights), tint the windows and get side exiting exhaust. Clone baby!

It looks lovely, I'd love to have one. With gas at 2.05 a gallon here, who cares about economy. I'll the the blower option!

And the packaging of the twin screw supercharger and intercooler is good too.

I've seen this one already...but what's this about the Lightning not coming back???? I thought that SVT was going to go ahead with it. Now I'm puzzled.

SVT has no plans to produce any trucks, the Adenaline has been axed too.

You can get 475 HP from the the Whipple SC for $5300.

ouch, that puts a damper on things.

the saleen is cool, but the inside still has a lot of ford left that is fugly in my opinion.

The Saleen is a package including engine, suspension, brakes, interior and exterior mods so it's more than just a supercharger. :-X22
