Hey guys, I'd be interested especially if it's go karting!

in the past the main thing is getting people to show up to the get togathers. like i said before. warm day and i am there.

Well we've got some support. If anybody is looking at not doing this because of not being able to get there - see if there is anybody "local". Btw Opie, you still hve the chapter map? I noticed it had disappeared.

So things are pointing towards CR/IC. If 54f100 could do some looking into that place, we could get some prices and such and start choosing a date. I'm up for march....maybe early April? But we can discuss that later.

If we could get everybody to want to come, I could see us having a 15 person get together, more if we could get some Des Moines guys to caravan out East. Ah...oh well.

Any info on the gokarting and other activities? Cost? If you have a number and don't want to call I could do it.

I Live in Council Bluffs with our truck and my wife. My wife is from Hills, so an Eastern Iowa meeting would work as well as anywhere else in the state.

I think this will be a good meeting. Well..except for Taz's razzing. But hopefully I won't be the young one so I may be good. Anyways...back to bed for me. Just waiting for some info...I can do the calling if you don't want to. later!

is it safe to asume the meeting will be in eastern iowa? if so im up for the go kart idea. ive got a fellow ford buddy that may tag along if thats cool.

well i know the fee at fun city in burlington is $10 for the indoor waterpark, the go carts are 5 bucks for 5 minutes. here is a link to their website, shows all the prices and what they got.

Not much of a ride for me to go to this event. maybe the next one can be in the middle of the state so i can take the harley out for the day.

I haven't been able to find anything out, haven't found anything of that description as yet. I haven't taken the time to go up and look for it just yet...
