To early for a local meet?

Waddayah say? Sometime towards the end of January? Be a good opportunity to get some pictures of everyones trucks too for the calendar and webpage. Any ideas on where to chill for a bit? I was thinking like Denys or something for breakfast or lunch. Unless you guys want to crash someones house or cook out?

Well, I was talking to Hampton Roads locals becuase they are local to me but anyone at any point is allowed to arrange local meets where ever they happen to be :-X22 Local meets are for whoever wants to try and have one at what ever particular time is agreed upon by the arranging party and attendees :-D

bikerdei 01-04-2006 08:46 PM

I'm game for what ever.:-X22 Probably will be too cold for a game of horse shoes. :(

Franken-Truck 01-06-2006 08:42 PM

I heard about a game just like Horse shoes, but for indoors or small spaces. Its called "Corn Hole" :-down Yeah, I know, but thats what its called. There are little bean bags full of corn that you try and toss into a hole in a board. Ringer is in the hole, 1 point if it lands on the board :-X22

stutterstan 01-06-2006 09:02 PM

Did you hear about Cornhole on FM99? The last local we had in Great Bridge was nice, early Saturday morning to say HI, convient for most people

Franken-Truck 01-08-2006 11:52 AM

You betcha :-X22 I listen to them Tommy & Rumble every morning. . .hardly get any work done in the morning.

That meet was when I passed out stickers right? The Silver Diner? That was a nice place to meet. Any other suggestions? Been kinda slow around here, say 2 weeks from now to give others time to chime in and nail a place down? Saturday the 21st?

sardog 01-08-2006 05:55 PM

im down for what ever

Franken-Truck 01-10-2006 12:24 PM

2 down for whatever. . .dunno if that helps or hinders :-X07 Yall up for a little morning BS & Breakfast then, around the same area as before (or even same place)?

bikerdei 01-10-2006 08:17 PM

I won't be ale to make 21st. Have a prior appointment at 9:00 am.

Franken-Truck 01-11-2006 12:16 PM

That stinks. . .How about the following Saturday if no one objects? It has been seriously deadsville around here, be nice to get as many as possible to show up :-X22

Franken-Truck 01-14-2006 08:58 AM

Hello? Anyone? I'm up for pretty much anything as well :-X22 I'd even be interested in gauging just how rusty my pool skills are or if I can get the family to leave the house for a couple hours, yall could come over hear :-X06

Where do you guys live again?

stutterstan 01-14-2006 10:34 AM

I think it would best best to just set a date and then whoever shows. As the leader you have to make decisions without everyone's input. Just my opinion.

sardog 01-14-2006 03:48 PM

i like the idea of gauging each others rusty pool skills

Franken-Truck 01-14-2006 05:42 PM

Your right Stan, but this is just a local thing, trying to get a feel for interest if any. . .and others peoples opinions are supposed to be a good thing
Supposed to foster interest and a feeling of contribution and all that good stuff :-X07

http://www.q-masters.com/ Its on princess anne road, between newtown and witchduck.

Been a few years since I was there, but it was a nice place. Meet up for lunch next Saturday and get an hour of pool free. Biker might even be able to make it :-X22
