Threads to be deleted

I am working with one of the FTE moderators to try to clean up some of the old threads. What I want to do is deleted all old threads that have not had any response 4 months or longer. I am putting this notice out just in case anyone has a thread out there that they would like me to keep listed. If you do have a thread you want to keep please let me know. Come the middle of this month (15 Jan 2006) I will start the house cleaning process.

I will also keep the older threads based upon the amount of response that they have seen. Not sure of a magical number yet but I will give that a look.

Thanks all
Mike

Well I stand corrected. I guess we/I cannot remove old threads or threads that have not been replyed to for awhile unless they violate FTE guidelines so for now the old threads will still be on our Chapter section. Just trying to unclutter. Aw well live and learn.

Makes sense to me. Why would you want to delete the few threads we have?

Just trying to get rid of threads that no one response to.

Crumm 01-12-2006 08:15 AM

Yeah but that would be almost all of them.

Boy that sure seems like the truth a lot of the times.

Chris do you have a snowmachine? If you come over for the hill climb try to make it over a day or so early and I'll take you riding. I have a spare machine.

WilliesSD250 01-13-2006 11:22 PM

Mike, give me the dates of the Hill Climb, so I can check my schedule. Also, no I don't have a machine, never seemed to have the money to buy one. I did a little riding on a Bravo when I worked at Drift River, also did a ride from LSBL to Drift on a 700.....man was that a nice ride, but was it ever long...about 10 hours and 120 miles. That was way back in like 98 or so. HAven't been on a machine since then.

I'll take a look my next day at work and email you those dates.
