Hey Tom,
Now that Bob has mentioned it, November 15th is comming up. Would you be able to keep an eye on things here till I get back? I'm not chasing Bambi through the woods, I'm going after Bambi's old man. :-X01 :-X01 :-X01 I will be gone from Nov 11th all the way through Nov 28th. I would appreciate it. Thanks Jim |
No problem Jim, Good luck in the woods.

Jimjdbi,
I thought I 'd add a little noise to the Michigan chapter. I check in once in a while. It was nice to meet you at the FTE rally in KS. My daughter in Muskegon tells me that bambi season is a state holiday up there. She said they even play the 40 point buck repeatedly on the radio. Check in with us down at the KS chapter once in a while and say hello. |
You are right about Deer season being a holiday here in the north country. I know I look forward to this all year.
|
Jim, Are you hunting in the upper or lower? Be safe out there and have a good time.
|
I'm in the thumb, over by Badax. It's a real nice area to hunt. It's all private land. I don't get bothered by other hunters. Thanks for the well wishes.

I have been commuting between Michigan and Minnesota getting ready to retire in the Minneapolis area. Finally sold my home in Northville so we will be out of here before the end of the year. Looks like lots of trips with the Haulmark trailer to move the shop equipment, Harley, 56 F100, Jaguar and some of my wife's stuff. Minnesota has a fairly active FTE chapter and there is a good F100 club. It's been swell in Michigan, but is about time to move on. Good luck fellows!

Joe:
Don't be a stranger here because your moving to Minnsota. You know your first home was here with us. Happy to hear you made it to retirement. I will be there in about 9 more months. Enjoy it for all its worth. Be careful while your moving, no need to get hurt now, your retired. Good luck guy. Jim |
Jim, I thought I would check in and see how the deer hunting went. Were you successful? My brother and friends up in Nebraska all managed to bag something, but no real trophies this year. KS season for firearms doesn't start till this next weekend.
