Listing of Best Salvage Yards in Kentucky for old Ford 4x4's..

I live in Richmond, KY. So far I have not found any good ones.

I did meet another Ford owner who raved about a yard near Paintsville, KY with about (40) F150/250 77'-79' trucks in an old lot..

Please send in any info you have about good junk yards here in Kentucky...

This may be to far for you, but there is a placed in Evansville In. that has two bone yards, one is a regular yard and the other is a pull your own part. The cheapest and the one that has the older automobiles is the pull your own, called pull-a-part. http://www.libertypullapart.com/

The phone numbers are, Liberty salvage-1-800-444-9373 and pull-a-part 1-812-435-2024.
The pull-a-part yard is having a sell Sunday, anything you can put in wheelbarrell is only 35.00.

I know a guy in Irvine that has some, he goes through quite a few of them. Shoot me a pm if you want, I'll give you his contact info. He doesn't run a junkyard, he just parts some out on the side.

Am I missin something here? Where was this thread?

As John said, where are you from?

CampSpringsJohn 11-11-2013 12:17 PM

So you're in Winchester, KY. (I see you added that in your 1st post, thanks) Wes is in Salyersville. He may know somebody down that way with one you can get. Around here, if it's older than the early 90's, they don't keep it around. There is one however, close to me that does have some old stuff. I'll see if I can find their name.

From 2005? I'm guessing it was about 16 or 17 pages down.

Hmm I remember this post and thought I had commented on it 8 years ago... must have been another post where I mentioned Mike's. It has since gone out of business. Mike was a wealth of Ford info and parts.

CampSpringsJohn 11-12-2013 03:43 PM

Which Mike's? The place in Corinth?

rywegh 11-12-2013 10:01 PM

Burlington, it is now part of Bessler's U-pull and save
