Clock Rest -Help

I have a 1997 Ranger Xcab. I am not sure it is an XLT. Anyway, I had the truck serviced for A/C charge and the mechanics disconnected the battery at one time. Now the time on my dashboard is off by 3 hours. The mechanics do not know how to reset.

How do you do the resetting of the clock? Help!! Anybody.

un plug the battery and plug it back in at 12:00
