I want to post my dogs pic as an avatar and it says it is too big. How do I shrink it to fit as an avatar?

You need photoshop or some other graphics edit program. Users have listed several here. Most of those pictures when reduced become unrecognizable.

What program opens up your photo of your dog ?

66gpw 12-27-2005 12:21 AM

I have it in a file at home on the computer. I know I can e-mail his pictures. I have some program for doing art stuff on the computer. But I'm over 40 and have a not so easy time learning this stuff. Not like my kids who are no longer at home.
I have been shown things to do, but if you do not use it you lose it, you know.
I have window xp on the computer.

When you open the photo, look in the tools or edit section.
The links to them should be in a bar on the top, side or bottom of the photo.

You can always send to to me and I will resize it for you:)

If Dennis is to busy I will also shrink it for you. Go into your All Programs - Accessories - Paint. Open your photo then go to Image - Attributes. You will then notice the width and height size. Change those number (down) and save. Once you noticed the picture size is within FTE size post it. Paint comes with XP. It is limited on what it can do but as mentioned its what came with XP. I use other software that I like for photo editing. If all else fails I'll resize it for you.

Good Luck

Change the size to meet the 60x60 pixel. Just looked it up.

Shoot - I'd use a pic of that Econoline!
