Where I live there are 20-30 useless drunks in the park downtown at any given time. They might have a home, but haven't sobered up long enough to find it. They can find the soup kitchen good enough tho. There are half a dozen of them passed out within a block of it right now I bet.

Calgary is even worse on any given day, where this article is talking about. Baptisim of those guys in the river might be their only bath this year. Too bad. The preacher should give them bar of soap, too.

Fall's comming most will look to bust the law to get 6 months room & board over the winter, because being homeless would suc @ -30 to -40 not that Calgary gets alot of that. The enduring cold is a bigger deal further north. It's mighty tough to help save someone who doesn't want actual help to detox & return to normal society, all they want is just handouts.
