converting 81 f100 to power brakes?
 

hello, a coworker has an 81 f100 and has manual brakes. 2wd, 5.0, power steering, 4 speed manual. he's wondering what he can do to convert to power-assisted brakes. currently it doesn't have them. can he used the parts off of an 89 f150? aka booster and anything else?

Yup, the parts will work. He'll need the booster and master cylinder. The Master cylinder on the 89 isn't exactly the same, but, it should work fine.
