new truck for me - old problems for you guys

Hello all!

I just purchased a 1975 F250 Supercap Camper Special (390 4spd) and it has some rust issues underneath - it sat in a field for several years before the prior owner picked it up and did some work to it. It runs great, but the rust needs some attention.

Driverside floor panel was replaced with some sheet metal a few years ago (screwed to floorboard), Passenger side floor panels - I can see the driveway through it in places - and my cab mounts are almost completely gone on both sides...there is lumber in there for the time being until this gets fixed.

Anybody in the area (Toledo - NW Ohio) know of a place to get some welding done to get this fixed correctly - I talked to my mechanic and he said that if I get the patch panels (from online resources) he could 'take a look at it'.

I wondered if somebody in the area knew of anybody that could perform the work for me as I have no welding experience or tools to do the job.

Thanks in advance everybody!

Tom

Try Mitch's Hitch's in Maumee. They have some guys that are really good and they are pretty reasonable too.
