lpg duel fuel tips

I have lpg auto gas system set up on my 91 f250 efi 351
is there any tips on tunning or things you can do to make it run
better,
I noticed when I first got lpg hooked up I drove it home 400klm
and it had loads of power but it used heaps of lpg, I know
lpg is far cheaper then fuel nearly I/2 price , but in the end it costed
about the same to run on lpg as gas. As I lived in the country I rang the company who fitted the system and they said they would have to retune it.
as they are to far away I played around with the mixer screws on the lpg
and found an incredible difference in economy ,
the two mixer screws were a small broze one and a larger plastic one they are on to pipes that go to the intake. can anyone tell me what they do and how to addjust, I don't need the power, the economy is what I'm after.
my truck is other wise stock standard 82,000 klms on it
thanks yabbie55
