Who should port my heads?

I have a set of cast iron heads and aluminum intake that I want to port match. I want to put bigger valves in the heads and of coarse port and polish it all. I live in so cal so I wanted to know who I should send them too. The machine shop that I trust out here doesnt do head work so I was hoping somebody out there could tell me. It doesnt have to be in only cali, they just have to be great at what they do and I will send them. Thanks

If you have some time, and the willingness to buy some tools and do some research, you can do it yourself. You'll save a lot of money. Just a thought.

A buddy of mine sent a set of 289 heads to L.A. several years ago for professional porting by some guys who really knew their way around these heads. I can't recall the name of the company, something-or-other Engineering, but it so happens I have those heads at work and they stamped their name into them. I'll take a look tomorrow and get back to you. -TD
