Anchorage - Front End Alignment

Just switched out my winter tires to my summer tires and noticed real bad "cupping", I guess that is how to describe it, with all of the studs worn off on the inside of the tire. Driver side front only. Anyway just looking for a good place to get my front end checked and fixed in Anchorage when I am in town again. Nothing local is available. I know you Anchorage guys and girls know were to go and were not to go. Thanks :-D

I would either go to Sand Lake Automotive (88th & Abbott by the new Chillies) or Jim Moores Automotive (Moores Muffler) (Commercial Drive & Reeve Blvd- near Anchorage Chrysler Dodge). Both places have always done excellent work for me.

My old P/U was going wearing out tires like crazy on the front. Took it to the Alignment Center north of International on "A" Street. Their prices are fair. Before you go, get those wheels up on a jack and shake them to see if not also the ball joints. Changing them is challenge, but I managed to get it done in the driveway in less then one day on a Dana 44.

Boy I hope its not the ball joints. The truck is only 13 months old (19,000 miles) but you never know. I still have 3-4 weeks before we make another trip over to the city so I'll keep looking at suggestions and once the time get closer I guess I will have to pick one. Havent called ford yet to see what they charge. Guess I should do that to compare.
